Activities
Rafting, kayaking, and fly fishing will be in full swing on the Arkansas river during the summer months. The surrounding 14,000 ft. mountains which include the famous 'Collegiate Peaks' have amazing trails and offer unlimited adventures for hiking, camping, and biking. Exploring the area in a 4x4 or ATV are also great ways to avoid the beaten path. As fall arrives fishing is once again great! Large herds of elk and deer attract hunters from all parts of the country. Winter provides excellent skiing at nearby Monarch ski area, which is only 15 miles up the road. Snowcat tours are a great way to ski the fresh powder in the backcountry!
