Welcome to the Poncha Lodge!
The Poncha Lodge is located in the Town of Poncha Springs, Colorado. Our location at the junctions of Highways U.S. 50 & U.S. 285 is known as the "Crossroads of the Rockies". We are five minutes west of Historic Downtown Salida and the Arkansas River, just fifteen minutes east of Ski Monarch and twenty five minutes south of Buena Vista. A beautiful drive south over Poncha Pass leads into the great San Luis Valley!
The Poncha lodge offers fourteen very clean, comfortable, and smoke free rooms. Located outside is a large gazebo enclosed Hot Tub with a great view of the mountains to the west. Picnic tables and BBQ areas. Parking in front of all rooms. Extra space for large trailers is also available. The Poncha Lodge is pet friendly and donates a portion of our pet charge to the local animal hospital!
Great restaurants are located in Poncha Springs! Grimo's restaurant offers excellent Italian dishes. Los Girasoles restaurant prepares outstanding Mexican food. Or a BBQ platter at Smokin' Jack's. An authentic Thai Cafe restaurant is located next door offering daily specials. American fare, including an Ice Cream shop is also within walking distance!
